Just as Comix Reader issue 4 goes to press, I’m pleased to read this as part of the review for issue 3 written by Paul Ashley Brown at Comic Bits On-line
"Craig Burston’s StunGunFunPun, is delightful and funny in it’s refreshing simplicity of execution, and pleasure in silly slang, and proves that sometimes, the simplest ideas and drawing works best.”
Thematically and aesthetically it was a return to stuff I was putting out in the late 90s and I loved to go back there (thanks for asking me Rich*). My page for issue 4 is exactly the same and completely different. Going backward to lurch forwards.
Comix Reader issue 3 still available from Gosh Comics or me if you get in touch. It’s full of ace stuff by ace comic artists. Issue 4 is looking great too…

*wonderfull talented and wonderful person, Rich Cowdry, editor of The Comix Reader and The Bedsit Journal.
